Debra Alford is a wife, mother, stepmother, Nana, and great-grandmother. She and her husband, Butch, celebrated their 33 years of marriage this August 2022. They’ve lived in Pueblo, CO, for 11 years after moving from Washington state.
She is the Owner and CEO of Stand Up Coaching LLC and a Certified Professional Coach. Debra serves as a Business and Leadership Coach, Life Coach, Communication and relationship Expert, Marriage Coach, Author, and Speaker.
Debra is intuitive and insightful. She is passionate about serving people and helping them develop their full potential while building on their strengths. She gives her clients a deeper understanding of who they are by gaining an understanding of their passion and how to apply passion to life and business.
She encourages individuals to take responsibility for their personal and business lives. Debra believes that within all of us, we carry the answers to life’s questions.

This book Sit Down & Shut Up is an inspirational read! Once you start reading you won’t want to stop.
The Author takes you on a journey through incredible odds and shows how faith in Jesus, never giving up, and searching for the truth can change your life! You may even find the purpose for your life like the author did. This is a journey worth taking without exception.
I Highly Recommend this book to anyone searching for the real person that they were created to be.

Amazing how the author could go through so much and turn out to be the woman of God she is today. It’s hard to comprehend that all the trials, and temptations she endured, what’s that are on a different path. If you want a relatable book right from the very beginning, that shows you the power of God, this is a must read.

This is a powerful book of hope! In each difficult situation in her life Debra found hope and something positive to say! I learned a lot about my life purpose and how to look at the positive side of challenges. It is professionally written with a tender heart towards the Lord, and you will enjoy every page! You may want to buy more copies to share in a group setting as she has a Call to Action at the end of each chapter that would be good to discuss.
